This consists of a main course followed by fruit and yoghurt. Each Friday, soup is served with home-made bread. On soup days, children enjoy a traditional hot pudding. (click on to 4-week menu). Afternoon snack is served at 3.30pm, and this can quite often be home baking, home made dips with pitta bread or bread sticks, or sometimes crackers and cheese. Again, served with organic milk and fruit.
A lot of the food we prepare is vegetarian, but we occasionally have meat, chicken and fish. We can cater for children who have special dietary requirements, but would like to stress that unless your child is medically advised to avoid certain foods, it is, in our opinion, sensible to allow your child to allow as many different foods as possible. We of course don’t serve sweet items, juices or high fat or high salt foods. If your child has any special requirements, Adam, our chef will be delighted to discuss this with you.
